Restoring the sealing gaskets of your fridge is simple, yet highly effective. With this method, your appliance will serve you for many more years with optimal performance.

Not long ago, we faced a small disaster at home — our fridge stopped cooling! I was furious, yelling about warm milk and melting ice. My husband, not too concerned, joked that maybe I was staring at it too much. Then, Artyom arrived at just the right time, figuring out the problem quickly. With some boiling water and a quick fix, the fridge was back to normal. Sometimes, all you need is a good friend and a kettle. 😅

Not long ago, we faced a real domestic crisis — the fridge stopped cooling properly. I was totally frustrated.

— This is insane! The milk’s warm again, and the ice is melting! — I snapped.
— Maybe if you didn’t keep staring at it like it’s a TV, it would stay cold, — my husband mumbled.
At that moment, his friend Artyom walked in, as if on cue.

— Whoa, did the fridge eat your dinner or what? — he joked, stepping inside.
We explained the situation, and Artyom immediately went to inspect the fridge. After a quick look at the door, he grinned and said:

— Classic. The door seal’s dried out, so it’s not closing tightly. Let’s fix it now.
— Grab a towel and put it under the door — we don’t want to flood the kitchen, — he instructed. — Now, let’s boil some water.
After the kettle was ready, he gently pulled the rubber gasket, pouring hot water along its length, especially around the corners.

— Think of it like a spa treatment for your fridge, — he laughed.
Then he closed the door, pressed it gently, and said:
— Give it a minute to reshape.

A minute later, we opened the door, and to our surprise, the seal was back to normal — flexible and tight.
— Do this once a year, and your fridge will last forever, — Artyom winked.

I realized that sometimes, you don’t need a technician. Just a good friend and a kettle of boiling water! 😄
