An Australian sanctuary saves a rare goLden possum that resembles a Pokemon

Boronla Veterinary Clinic, located in Melbourne, was visited by a possum that looked eerily like a Pokemon.

In this case, a veterinarian believes that the animal’s hair (which is typically gray) has become golden due to a deficiency of melanin, which is caused by a hereditary problem.

The 6-month-old possum was found on the ground by one of the volunteer workers. The baby was screened and determined to be in good health.

An animal caretaker for wild animals took him in after spending the night at the vet’s office. The adorable animal is unlikely to be reintroduced into the wild in the future because of its unique coloration.

Even though Pika’s future is uncertain, he has gained a following on the internet. Instagram users have shared the golden possum shot more than 1,400 times.

Everyone wants to see a cute animal like this since you’ll never see one like it in the wild.

What a genuine work of art. A magnificent animal like this deserves a long and happy life in the company of loving and caring humans.
