Like people, some dogs like their own private place. There is a desire to sit back and reflect, eat quietly, and unwind.
Stanley is not one of them.
A year and a half ago, a guy called Will adopted him from a New Zealand shelter. Since they first met, the dog from the shelter has blossomed into a great charmer.
For nearly 24 hours, he even refused to leave go of his owner’s hand. Apparently, he calmed down because of the owner’s relationship with him.
Will distinctly recalls the moment he first laid eyes on his pet. A few months into his apartment life, the dog had become used to his dish and had become attached to its owner.
Sitting so close to him made it almost impossible for him not to touch him as he climbed into bed with him.
The dog followed Will’s lead and altered its stance as well.
It didn’t change with age for him. It’s wonderful that the dog has found a loving home where he can thrive.
