At some point, every woman wonders: Where on earth am I supposed to fit all these clothes? For American woman Idaly Cabrera, the answer came in the form of a spacious attic—and a husband with golden hands.

For years, Idaly struggled to squeeze her wardrobe into a small closet. That’s when her husband, Rodolfo, came up with a brilliant idea.

“One day I climbed up there and thought, ‘Wow, we’ve got all this unused space—we should turn it into something amazing,’” Rodolfo recalls.

Within just three weeks, the transformation was complete. Using materials from their home stock and a nearby hardware store, Rodolfo, along with his construction team, brought the dream to life. The total cost? Around $30,000—including materials and wages for his colleagues.

Rodolfo handled most of the work himself. He built the frame with 2×4 wooden beams, installed drywall, and plastered the walls. Once everything was prepped, he painted the space in soft gray tones .

The shelves were handcrafted from wood, while the floor was covered with waterproof PVC laminate that looks just like real wood but is far more practical.

“It’s plastic-based, water-resistant, and easy to maintain,” Rodolfo explains. Thanks to her husband’s creativity and skill, Idaly now has a closet straight out of a magazine—and a daily reminder that love truly builds beautiful things.
