Grandma’s village house hadn’t been cleaned for several months. She had recently moved to the city to live with us, and the house had been left empty and dusty.
One day, my sister and I decided to go to the village and clean the old house, so it could breathe again. 🏡✨
While cleaning and rummaging through the rooms, we found a very strange object in a dark corner. It looked so unusual that I decided to take a photo and send it to Grandma. 📸

It turned out that two centuries ago, doing laundry was considered one of the hardest household chores. First, you had to bring water from afar, heat it for a long time, and then wash the clothes by hand. The hardest part was wringing out the water.
