Sheepdog remained at a shelter for a decade since no one wanted him. He had accepted his condition and made peace with it a long time ago.
A worker at the shelter said that he gets along well with all types of dogs.
Fiji saw the other dogs return and go to their new homes, but he was the unlucky one. They abandoned him because they didn’t want to take care of him anymore.
As if nothing had happened, he was suddenly full of life and energy again, befriending every member of the shelter’s staff.
Unfortunately, trusting a complete stranger took some time. The dog walker had contemplated taking Fiji back with her to the States, but the dog had more luck elsewhere.
Further, Fiji has just arrived at his residence. When my wife got home from work, he plopped down on the sofa as if he’d been there all along and immediately started greeting her cheerfully.
The fact that you abandoned the puppy in the shelter is upsetting to all of us.
Apparently the staff thought the dog was happy there and was looking forward to meeting other pets. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them.
