Stacey Harold defied all odds. Born with a rare condition called osteogenesis imperfecta, she was only 71 cm tall and spent much of her life in a wheelchair.Doctors warned her against having children, fearing that her kids might inherit her disease or that the pregnancy could end fatally. But Stacey, against all predictions, went on to have three children. Her journey was filled with challenges, but she never gave up.

In 2000, fate brought Stacey together with Will Gerald. They met at a small convenience store in Dry Ridge, and Will, much taller and younger than her, saw more than just her physical condition. He recognized her inner strength, and they quickly formed a bond. Four years later, they got married.

Despite warnings from family and doctors, the couple decided to expand their family. In 2006, their first daughter, Katherine, was born prematurely at 28 weeks.

Unfortunately, she inherited her mother’s condition. But this didn’t stop them. In 2008, their second daughter, Makayla, was born healthy despite complications during the pregnancy. In 2009, their son Malachi was born, and he too inherited his mother’s condition.
