😲 😲 I was about to throw away this old chair, so worn out and present in our house for nearly 20 years. But my daughter wouldn’t let me get rid of it and assured me that she could turn it into a beautiful piece of furniture. A few weeks ago, our neighborhood had a bulky waste collection, and we stumbled upon an old colonial-style wooden chair from the 90s. While it was still structurally sound, it had some scratches and paint splatters. We decided to give it a second life by repainting it.
It’s amazing how a discarded object can be transformed into something beautiful! After a lot of thought, we chose a vibrant red color for the chair, hoping it would give it a fresh look. The first step was sanding the surface thoroughly to remove old paint and stains. Then, we cleaned the chair with a damp cloth to eliminate dust and dirt before applying a coat of White Knight Rust Guard All Purpose Primer. The beauty of this primer is that it combines both base coat and primer in one application, and the spray formula makes it so easy to use!
If you’re looking to restore furniture, keep an eye on bulky waste collections in your neighborhood.
You never know when you’ll find hidden treasures that just need a little TLC. ✨👀
