The current owner of this old apartment is a young blogger who has spent her entire life here. Unable to move into a new place, she decided to carry out a radical renovation. The 1960s home turned out to be quite stunning after the transformation.
The first task was replacing the front door. To visually expand the space, the walls were painted white. And for practicality, large porcelain tiles were installed on the floor. The result was both modern and functional.
On the right side of the entrance, an elegant console, a mirror, and a compact ottoman in a turquoise shade make a stylish statement. In the niche, a large closet for outerwear is visible. The closet’s facade was designed with mirror inserts, adding a chic touch.
The old kitchen entrance was blocked off – now, you can access the kitchen from the living room. The traditional door was replaced with a French-style sliding partition. The floor and baseboards were finished with ceramic granite tiles. A beige corner sofa was placed against the wall, making the space cozy and inviting.
The living room turned out to be a through room, as all the apartment’s rooms, except for the bathroom, can be accessed from here. The balcony block was removed, and French doors were installed, allowing more natural light to flood the space.
On the right wall of the living room entrance, there’s a comfortable sofa that can be unfolded to create a full sleeping area for guests if needed. Across from the relaxation area is a TV zone with a fireplace portal.
From the living room, you enter the bedroom. The walls are painted in Tiffany blue, and classic laminate flooring was used. The walls are adorned with moldings and mirrors. In the center is a double bed with pink upholstery, featuring a lift mechanism that provides extra storage space in the bedroom.
Next to the bed, there are nightstands and a small custom-made vanity. A full-fledged dressing room was created, complete with electrical outlets and ventilation.
The bathroom and toilet were combined into a single 6-square-meter space. For the floor, matte ceramic granite tiles were chosen, while the walls are covered in glossy ceramic tiles and mosaics, creating a beautiful, modern atmosphere.
